Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) No. 910/2014 of 23 July 2014 on electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions on the internal market meant that many organisations had to face the cardinal question of how to work with electronic documents correctly. This regulation, with effect as of 1 July 2016, cancels the original directive 1999/93/EC, on which the currently effective Czech electronic signature act No. 227/2000 Coll., and other legislative standards related to this area are based. These legislative acts will need to be amended or replaced after that date.

DO YOU KNOW WHAT IS THE IMPACT OF eIDAS ON YOUR ORGANIZATION?

The subject of the offer is preparation of a study of impact of the new European eIDAS regulation on activities and processes within organisations, especially in the area of work with electronic documents, electronic signature/seal and other trust services for electronic transactions. The purpose is to identify areas directly or indirectly affected by the eIDAS regulation and to propose appropriate recommendations and measures to assure correct process setup and problem-free running of information systems in compliance with European as well as national legislation after 1 July 2016.

The main benefit of the study is identification of areas/processes and assessment of the range of impact of the eIDAS regulation on the functioning of the organisation pursuant to a unified methodology with emphasis on the time aspect and financial demand of the introduced changes.

I am interested in having the study processed for my organisation
